We are Adrián and Carlos, two passionate advocates for canine wellness and proper nutrition. What began over ten years ago as a personal need to naturally feed our own furry children — Prada, Dior, and Chamo — evolved into a mission: to improve dogs’ lives through conscious, real, and powerful nutrition.
Adrián, a lifelong animal lover, firmly believes that feeding well is one of the purest ways to show love. His care and sensitivity shaped the essence of Happy Bite: cooking with heart, honesty, and purpose.
The result is an organic, fresh, and natural food, made in small batches, free from preservatives or chemicals, and certified to meet the strict standards of both the FDA and AAFCO, proudly approved by U.S. laboratories.

Carlos Valdivia is a Cuban-American entrepreneur with a strong background in Criminal Justice, in which he earned his Bachelor’s degree in the United States. Throughout his life, he has stood out for his curiosity, discipline, and passion for continuous learning.
A devoted dog lover, Carlos has cared for up to ten furry companions at home, each one an essential part of his family. His story with Prada, a chihuahua he has lovingly cared for over 17 years, reflects his deep commitment to animals and his belief that proper nutrition is the key to health and longevity.
Before founding Happy Bite Dog, Carlos spent more than 10 years as General Manager at LA Fitness in the United States, where he led teams, drove commercial growth, and positioned his location among the top-performing branches nationwide. This experience provided him with a solid business vision, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of customer engagement.
Today, as CEO and co-founder of Happy Bite Dog, he leads the administrative and production departments, ensuring every process upholds the brand’s standards of excellence, quality, and freshness. His commitment to animal well-being and hands-on management approach make Carlos a key figure in the growth and continued success of Happy Bite Dog.
Adrián Matos — Founder & CEO of Happy Bite Dog
Adrián Matos is a Venezuelan-American communicator, actor, and entrepreneur with more than two decades of experience in television, theater, and film. Alongside his artistic path, he has built a successful career as a creative and artistic producer, achieving numerous accomplishments throughout his professional journey.
He has served as CEO of well-known companies such as Caracuchos, Miamicuchos, and Adrián Presenta, demonstrating strong leadership, strategic vision, and an authentic ability to connect with audiences through creativity and innovation.
A lifelong animal lover, Adrián co-founded Happy Bite Dog with his partner to merge his compassion for dogs with his creative and business expertise.
As CEO, he leads the marketing, digital strategy, and sales departments, driving the brand’s mission of providing organic, science-backed nutrition for dogs.
